- 4 / 5By A Google UserFood was great! I drove from Murfreesboro, TN and visited with the owners John and Barb. They're from Chicago, but got to the south as quick as they could - they bought a log cabin then converted it into a restaurant. All of the cedar inside and out were cut down off the local property there with a million dollar view. This restaurant overlooks a beautiful area of about 120 acres with wildlife everywhere. The whole inside is full of cedar beams and wood that is warm. The food was good (ABOVE AVERAGE) I had the polish sausage with saurkraut and fries - it took the cook a while to prepare it, but it was absolutely delicious. I don't care if you drive 1 hour like I did or 30 minutes - it IS worth the stop. Why not stop there before dropping your boat off for a nice view of the lake! I would highly recommend this place - say hi to John and Barb for me-- Nice people and good food with lots to choose from.March 30, 2017
